Gardening with Bonsai

The art of Bonsai originates in the Chinese empire and was copied and adapted by the Japanese to what we now know as Bonsai trees. Literally translated “bon-sai” means “planted in a container”. We are excited to partner with Peggy Snow with Blue Ridge Bonsai Society to present an overview of Bonsai including care, styles and a bit of history.

We will have a selection of tropical and evergreen bonsai as well as supplies such as containers, bonsai soil, and tools. This seminar is for beginners as well as seasoned practitioners.
